Concert was fun. Line and venue staff not so much
We got there around 2-3 hours before the doors opened and met up with some friends and about an hour or so before doors open, a staff member yells out to everyone in line that we had to move the line downstairs. Everyone went into a frenzy of trying to get a better spot in line and we all made sure that we had our spots and then they eventually sent meet and greet, pass the line, and VIP ticket holders upstairs to wait in front of the venue doors. This made my fiancé and I able to move up the line downstairs because everyone with the VIP etc tickets went up. Eventually about 10-20 of us that were now at the front of the line were randomly selected for meet and greet and they let us all in (the 10-20 randomly selected people) and everyone else had to wait outside until after we got done. Barricade was very fun other than being squished the whole time, but some people passed out and got hurt. Wish the security would have done a better job. Also didn’t like that the security eventually started telling people not to throw stuff anymore. Anything that didn’t make it on stage was kicked aside by security and I’m not sure if the people who threw them were able to get them back. The performers were great, but wish the staff would’ve told us about the line before everyone started lining up, that they would’ve been fair about pass the line and VIP people because it seemed like they were the last to go in and wish the venue could get their stuff together about rules because they were telling us stuff we couldn’t bring in that wasn’t the same as their website.
